Fluid Software have some very exciting news! We are truly delighted to announce that we have just received €50,000 Euro investment for a 10pc ordinary equity stake along with support of a business mentor under Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Fund in the Internet and games category.
Fluid Software are honoured to join a select group of companies awarded the investment to date. From a large pool of entrants we joined 25 short-listed companies, then presented in front of a panel of leading industry experts, including Barry O’Neil of Other Ventures and Colm Lyon of Realex Payments in order to reach the final group and ultimately secure the investment – a real vote of confidence.
Fluid Software are already putting this investment to good use by dramatically increasing the pace of development of Fluid UI – our upcoming mobile prototyping tool. We plan to purchase additional mobile equipment for testing, upgrade our server-side capabilities and offer a range of contract development positions to Irish and International developers, graduates and students. In addition, we are presently taking on interns. If you are interested - please contact us right away.
Fluid UI is being built from the ground up using the latest HTML5 technology. Fluid UI is a cloud based service and allows users of varying technical competencies to quickly create click-through prototypes of iPhone and Android applications. Prototypes can be instantly previewed on a smartphone such as the Apple iPhone or other devices running the Google Android Mobile operating system. The purpose of the Competitive Start Fund is to accelerate the growth of start-up companies that have the capability to succeed in global markets.
We would like to thank Enterprise Ireland and everyone involved for their fantastic support to date and we look forward to working closely with EI for many successful years to come.
